The Neuspeed super cup kit has ride height adjustment grooves, but then on their website it says it lowers the car 2.2" in the front and 2.0" in the rear. Are those numbers the lowest it can go? If I were to buy this kit, I dont want my car quite that low, so If other height adjustments make the car not as low that would be great.

Question about the super cup kit

Whats the sense of having a fully adjustable coilover setup if most of the time you wont be adjusting it to have a true purpose. The purpose of a full coilover setup if for auto x not for just looks. The neuspeed supercup kit just makes it look easy thats all. as for the supercup kit it will lower your car but then after a little bit the springs will settle in a little more about an inch more thats about it. and im rockin sportsprings with the koni yellows which is the supercup kit. And I dont have no issues with a 2 finger gap btw.

The koni yellow shocks that come with the cup kit have 5 perch settings. The instructions recommend that with stock springs, you use the lowest perch. With lowering springs, like the ones that come with the kit, it recommend the middle perch. The lowering springs on the middle perch will give 2.2" f and 2.0" rear. If you don't want it that low, you can raise it to the highest perch and I'm guessing it'll be around 2.0"F, 1.8" rear? That's an estimate off top of my head, the distance from the middle to top perch is about .2"Originally posted by mndude07The Neuspeed super cup kit has ride height adjustment grooves, but then on their website it says it lowers the car 2.2" in the front and 2.0" in the rear. You asked if 2.2" F, 2.0" R is lowest it can go. If you put the shocks on the lowest settings, you'll get approx. 2.5" F, 2.2" R.

nex's, ksports go for 600.
tein basics go for 625 plus shipping.
as for price wise, you may be able to purchase each item seperately and get them cheaper than the package deal. gitta do some research though

Okay, so the cup kits got race springs and koni yellows, would there be a difference if I went sport springs and koni yellows. Obviously it's a bit softer and higher, but how much a difference do you feel. I don't want to buy suspension and still have lots of body roll but I don't want to buy it and have a very uncomfortable ride considering I'm not track racing... at all.

thats a hard combination...
body roll is somewhat dependent on the stiffness of each corner.
-retain the stock bushings
-increase tire pressure
-softer spring? (or vice versa?)
-a little bit fimer than usual strut setting
id have to say that the race springs might not be for you. they are pretty stiff.
even my h&r race springs were pretty stiff yet i still had some body roll. you'd have to play around with the setting on the koni's. remember that the change is not effective right away. you have to wait a couple days (again, is dependent on how much one drives) to se the results of the change.
like i said, that combination is hard to find.Last edited by wed3k; 02-14-2007, 06:27 PM.

I haven't ridden around on the Cup kit, but I did have the Neuspeed Sports and Koni Yellows on my car, and that rode perfectly while handling very nice and securely. The car soaked up bumps a lot more and was a lot easier to drive compared to stock and the other setup I had. Race might be a bit more stiff but I don't think you can get the Cup Kit with Sport springs, only separate.Originally posted by ilovemycb7Okay, so the cup kits got race springs and koni yellows, would there be a difference if I went sport springs and koni yellows.
