when the car is on and in park if i turn the wheel left or right i hear a loud knock come from under me it also happens when i drive not a constant knock but one loud knock when i turn the wheel left and one when i turn the wheel right.someone help...

okay, this kinda happend to be but when i was backing up and pulling into a parking spot. Try adjusting the rubber housing that holds the steering rack or something. Its this rubber clamp sort of thing, it might just need to be readjusted or tightened up. My mechanic did this when I mentioned something similar, so i dont know exactly what he did. He simply unbolted something, flipped the rubber piece over and bolted it back up and it worked. No aligning was necessary. Hope you understood that haha
