    tierod and balljoint problem

so today i was trying to finish up our project car's suspension/brakes and when i was trying ti tighten down the nuts for the upper control arm and one of the tierods, the stud AND the nut would just spin together.

would it be best recommended to just replace the following items or is it normal?
    I <3 G60.

0.5mm Oversized Stainless valves and bronze guides available. Pm me please.

its happened to me before, i assumed it was fine and so far no problems... to get it to tighten just use a pry bar and put tension on it.

Its normal for that to happen, If there is excessive movement in the joint then you know its bad. Just got to thread the nut onto the stud slowly until snug and then tighten it up

hmmm, thats what i did to a strut nut before. aight ill give those a shot plus with the cotter pin it shouldnt move at all.

there's a retaining clip on the lower ball joints, those are for the boot or the ball joint itself? i replaced all the boots because they are all busted but with polyurethane boots and they dont seem to be holding on by themselves or with the stock circular clip.

note: this is for a track car and not a DD
