    Strut/spring question

    Hey guys & gals,

I just bought some KYB AGX struts for my accord and was wondering what a good spring would be to use with them, I don't want to buy cheap Ebay springs but then again I don't want to pay a fortune for them either, are there any moderatly priced good springs that will last ? I'm not looking to drop my car to much, maybe 1" at most (I live in the mountians)

    thanx for any help.

eibach prokit is about 1'' drop, i would opt for the h&r or neuspeed sport a little more agressive drop to about 1.5''. If u go with a 1'' drop it wont really look lowered

      X2.

NOTE: Most springs will "settle" after about three weeks. So add about .5in to each spring height.

      In order of increasing aggressiveness:

      Tein
      H-Tech 1.5in 224 lbs/in (F) 1.1in 151 lbs/in (R) - Great with sway bars and strong shocks Tokico HP. My setup.

      Sprint Performance 1.50 (F) 1.50 (R)

      Neuspeed Sportline 1.75 (F) & 1.5 (R)

      Eibach Sportline 1.8 (F) & 1.7 (R)
      DEVOTE

i know i had h&r sport at one time which is essentially the same drop. It's not too aggresive, nice soft ride with improved handling. U can probably find them for under $160 or find someone on here who is selling them

you combine them with a adjustable strut and the flexaibility is great

Go with the Neuspeeds, or Eibachs.

Personally I'd say Neuspeed, but the Eibachs certainly aren't bad.

H&R sport spring is 1.75 inch front/1.5 inch rear advertised, but on Tokico HP shocks sit at 3 finger gap all around. This is great for daily driving, speed bumps, RR tracks, etc. This will give you a nice even look all-around but be fine for daily driving anywhere. I have 50,XXX miles on the H&R sport springs and they are still holding up. It does seem that on Ebay they have good prices for these springs.

Neuspeed sport are similar in terms of drop height, but a different manufacturer. Both are good. I have Neuspeed race springs on my other Accord, I have no complaints with either manufacturer.

I've heard the Eibach prokits are too soft.
