    205/40/17 or 215/45/17 ?

Im debating whether to get 205/40/17 or 215/45/17.
    Going on 17x7 wheels.
    45mm offset
btw, im well over 2" drop.

2.5 inch drop on my cd5 with 215-45-17 and no rubbing whatsoever...

i'm pretty sure my offset is right around there too, also running 17x7

      bigger is better.
Im very happy with my 225 45 17s.
Thus, go with the 215's at least.

215 would give you a more correct size if you are running a CB or CD or even a newer Accord. 205/40 doesn't leave enough sidewall. And I agree with Chessboxer. If you can fit 225 that would be even better. The wider they are, the better.

215-40-17 is the most correct size for a CB with 17's, but they are much harder to find than 215-45, and the difference really isn't that substantial.

These are 215/40/17 Falken 512 Ziex on all 4 wheels with 17x7 +34 offset in front and 17x7.5 with +40 offset in back.

and when you do find them they are more expensive too.
After searching and reading some reviews i went with Hankook HR2's
