im thinking of buyin a new set of rims for my car and im came ADR WHEELS .i think they look the business but im not sure about the quality they're base in the states , any one know of these rims ? im looking at the adr mach8 or the model flite black ,what you think guyz ?

but seriously nick, what reason/ evidence do you have that all ADR wheels are trash?

i mean, you and i have similar taste in styling, and i would personally never buy a set of ADR wheels because of their weight and the fact that 17" + is not what im going for in wheels choice, but why wouldnt you?

For the same reason and i feel that they are not original wheels. They have alot of copies. I dont mind orignal lower quality wheels but my friends have ADR's and they are ripping off volks. I dont understand why wheels are the only thing people dont like to spend money on. Whould you guys buy a Hyndai if it looked like a 4th gen accord just be cause it was cheaper? Then why buy wheels that look like the real deal but its lower quality, due to them being casted and not forged. Yeah it gets the job done but if you are like me when it comes to your car then you wan the best. I guess ill blame it on cost? Its the 3rd most expensive mod compared to the swap and paint. But then again i dont know your guys standards so i could be wrong about that. WHATEVER. Im done now. I hope you guys understand.

all wheels sold in this side of the world have to pass a certain test in order for them to be usable on the road and handle a certain loading.

the line drawn between them lies with the whole manufacturing processes and quality control. obviously this affects price. we all know companies such as volk have a forging process on one of their lines to ensure strength and lightness. others just cast. any others just copy. the use of certain materials also comes into play.

with the numerous companies out there, doing your homework and knowing what you want are essentially needed. then work with your budget. we all have different tastes and preferences. just remember, you get what you pay for.
