    Good Tire Shop?

    Hey Fellaz,
    Just wondering if anyone is aware of a GOOD place to buy tires in Long Island. Trying to help out a family member. Any input is greatly appreciated.

    if you're looking to get tires, www.tirerack.com has always served me well and usually gets tires (and other products) to my house in about a one to two days. Plus their prices are usually the best online.

      Yeah,
      I've used Tire Rack a number of times. The only drawback is that some shops(around here anywayz) won't mount tires that they didn't sell, or will charge some obscene amount of money for the mount, balance, valve stem, tire disposal, etc...
      I've also been able to get a shop around my way to honor the TireRack price and then charge their own shipping fee just to get the business. I'm just tryin to look out for my cousin and cause him as little inconvenience(sp?) as possible.
      Good lookin out on the response tho.
