    225/35/18's (18s)

Does anyone ride on these besides Lithium92?
These run a close to stock diameter as I can figure.
How do you rate this size?
Sorry I am a noobie, so I need all the help I can get.
I just bought some 18x7.5 rims and need to get some tires.
    Any suggestions? Thanks everyone!

Im running 225 40's and they are a little wide. (about flush with the fender) But they look good with my body kit on there. The 225 35's will be ok though, not as wide.

actually, the 225/40 and 225/35 are the same width. both are 225mm wides. the 225/35 will have a shorter sidewall (the sidewall is 35% of the width). i ran a 225/35 for awhile..but nobody makes a cheap tire in that size...so i switched to a 215/35. but, i had no rubbing with a 225/35...it is a safe size tire to run.

Ya I was starting to notice that they are not too cheap.
So is 215/35/18 the best alternative?
        Are there brands to avoid?
What is the best tire bang for buck?
My biggest concern is tread life cause mine is a daily driver.

if you want the absolute cheapest, nankang and federal make a cheap ass 215/35-18. both brands are alright, with an eye towards tread life than performance. if you want a good performance tire at a good price, look at the kumho escta mx tire. if you want a little less performance, and a little less price than the mx, go with the kumho escta 712. it is a great tire for the price. 215/35 is definitely the best alternative to the 225/35.
