    Damn Temp Gague!

    Wassup fellow swappies,

This morning i noticed (very quickly) that my temp gague was not functioning at all. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what i should do as far as troubleshooting. any help would be greatly appreciated. good lookin' out

p.s. i did a search but due to the strictly defined search parameters, i was unable to get any applicable info.

    Thanks Fellaz

Perform a test on it to make sure it is actually the gauge not functioning.

      Thanks

      Thanks for the links.
I was able to determine what the problem was. The plug on the sensor came off and i couldn't it where it fell. It's working again.

Good to hear.. I had the same problem for a while when I swapped in the H22 motor. Then I kept getting CEL's and VTEC wouldn't kick in.

Glad to see your problem is solved!

Yeah, luckily my VTEC still worked, but i'm wild paranoid about things like engine temp. Some take these gagues for a joke, but for me it's like a lifeline. Thanks for checkin' up on a brotha.

Right when I got my swap done, I didn't know that the radiator seals blew when I hydrolocked my engine so the needle was going crazy and it was spitting fluid all over the place.

Just check all your fluids to double check, it only takes a few min to check em, but it's well worth it.

I do it every so often, tranny fluid, oil, and antifreeze
