    f22b owners: what gas do u use?-- OCTANE

    running the proper ecu...

    i find 87 runs like ass

    90+ is good

    i found the same,i run 91-93 octane,i get better mpg than 87

      i run 91 with mine it runs good i havent tried running 87 so i dont know how that is but i think next im gonna try 94

        ..i've always used 93 or 94 no matter what motor or car, unless its a rental

            9.5:1 i believe...according to my calculations 91+ is fine...might even be able to get away with 89

                F20A DOHC & F22B DOHC is 9.5:1...

                oh and I usually run 89 with my F20A... 87 idles rough and 91 doesn't feel any different than 89 so why bother if I'm not advancing my timing from 16 degrees at all...

                    i use 93 octane. with 10.6:1 c/r, i wouldnt go anyhting less.

                    178 whp and 148 torque (mustang dyno)
                    14.8 @ 93 in 1/4 mile-in Accord
                    ??.? @ ?? in 1/4 mile-in Civic

                              not wise at all. unless your motor is usdm. even so, your c/r would be 10.4 you need more octane. in my opinion anyway.
