Best way to swap LS1 into CB7

Thinking about swapping LS1 into a CB7 coupe.
I want to be able to pass PA inspection and drive it to school/work.

What would be the best way to accomplish this?

I am thinking about trying to locate a wrecked vette and using the subframe from it, any other ideas?

    It will be COMPLETELY custom.
Hope you have a good amount of tools, money, time, and patience.

I highly doubt youll be able to pass any inspection/emissions with that engine.
    But, I could be wrong.

an LS1?!?! this makes no sense in any way.

do you have any idea how big this motor is, plus the tranny? how do you plan to fit it? and even if you could fit it, you would have to go RWD with some sort of imaginary rear end.

dude, if you want an LS1 badly enough, go buy a camaro.

        It's not impossible, maybe improbable.
But, with time and money, you can do just about anything.

        Edit: LS1 in Civic.

Well I took the emissions/inspection course a while ago and from what I understand it will pass inspection as long as it has all the emission components that the Accord supposed to have (evap, egr, etc)

The Accord engine bay is definitely big enough for a V8. And I would convert it to RWD. Why imaginary rear end? There are plenty of RWD cars that I could use parts from.

dude a accords engine bay is big enough for a v6. thats it. you need to cut the firewall and extend it for the v8. plus you have to modify the interior for the tranny

The fellow that build the Civette in the video above, pretty much just cut both cars into two, and welding the opposing pieces together. I remember reading through the build thread and him saying he spent something <$500!?

I know these were special circumstances, but the guy made it happen.
