    f20a dohc wire harness

I found the wire harness for my jdm f20a dohc and there's a thick white wire that is cut. What wire could this be? Power for battery or maybe a ground? I'm not sure what to do with the f20a either keep it sittin on the side of the house and leave the f22a6 in the cb7 or do a motor swap.

IF you're going to swap the f20a into your car, then use your stock f22a wiring harness.

what would i have to modify on the harness to make it work for the f20a? I beleive it use to have a home made external coil that i have no idea how to set up.

nothing, the stock one plugs right into everything. the f20a should have no sensor on water neck on the front of the head, just swap that over. everything else is normal. just unplug the stock harness, put it on the f20a before dropping it in. remember the f20a is from a CB so all is the same.

if it is a larger 8 gauge wire it probably is for the alternator, either on the fuse box side or alternator side

I know the motor is in my garage now and all, but to go from an ext. coil to the int. coil you just have to put a fuse in of of the plugs as a jumper to give it power.. at least thats all we had to do when i did the F22b Dohc swap...I like having the Int. coil so ill work out how to hook it up.
