p28 ecu ???

ok i just brought a chipped p28 it has 2 step @ 4000rpms but after i put the car in gear an drive it wont pass 4000rpms my p13 drives it fine. does any one know what i can do? the ecu is tuned for LSV but im gonna retune for h22

its got a hondata chip n skunk 2 chip

If its 2 step do you have a working speedometer? Is it on the skunk 2 chip? Try another chip made for your motor.. there are a number of things that can cause a low rev limit like that related to the ecu. Is it throwing any codes.? First car I ever tuned I had a bad ecu to start so it worried me but then come to find out a new ecu and the same chip worked...

Is it the hondata chip or both? Hondata s100 doesn't offer a 2 step. Only s200 does... mostly they stick to a clutch switch so you will need to give us more info if you need help

its a skunk 2 chip. but when i opened it up there was a hondata chip in there also. the car is not throwin any codes. im takin it to a guy named neal in tampa tomm to rechip it an give me a h22 basemap

Well, he's starting to tune now. He has most of the tools now. But he can definitely burn chips and whatnot.
