How do you know that you didn't bend any valves? I snapped a belt when I had my F22 and it ran after the new belt but 4 valves were bent and I had a loss of power.

How does a snapped timing belt keep you from getting spark? Also like stated above; did you(or the shop) do a compression check to see if the valves are still sealing properly? Anyways good luck and hopefully you've have it back running soon.

timing belt snaps, cam(s) stop spinning and since the dizzy is attached to the camshaft it too stops spinning.

No way man, that sucks, sorry to hear...I had my timing advanced 40 degrees and I didnt bend any valves...is it your exhaust or intake valves? And why not just new valves? Surely it didnt crack the piston, right?

But if your going H22 then this is a good thing, I guess.

                  Good luck.

sorry to hear that man, but there is always a silver lining... h22!!!!!!

and be sure to do the tensioner conversion. i broke the auto one twice and luckily i never bent any valves. leakdown was always good.
