h22 auto acceleration help

ok i just bought a cb it had a freshly swapped jdm h22 when i smash on on it to see how it felt it seem slow to me i felt like my auto f22 was faster, then v-tec kicks in at 5k rpm and i start to take off.im also new to this v-tec thing.also when my car is turned off i can shift out off parking without using the key to put it in the lock or turning the key half way then pressing the brake

so its will move out of gear in park or will not move out of gear in park. just making sure i understand what you are saying.

and with the accel prob it feels slow until the vtec kicks at like 45oo to 55oo until redline?

yea i can shift out of p to anything whithout using the key

the guy that did the swap said it might need a tune or it might be cuz i dont have egr valve installed but it kinda strugles to pick up speed and at 5k vteck kicks in

how is your idle at full stop?

compression check....each one could be a small loss of power there.
auto trany will not move from park with out key being used :you need to splice these together On the tcu u have 2 grey plugs:
The big grey plug has a white/green wire, cut that about an inch away from the plug just in case you want to put back like stock later.

The smaller grey plug has a green/white wire, cut the on off and put it together with the white/green from the other plug *EDIT* so that both non plug sides are now going to loop together and it will work like normal.

well install the egr if you need one i have one from jdm engine not accord.

dose anyone know how to plug this in the guy said that this might be my problem can i use the f22 stock connector and plug it in to the h22's or do i have to cut/slpice the wires
