I have a 1990 honda accord that i did an h22a swap in over 2 years ago. Has run completely normal until about 3 months ago. At first it would just stick and i could tap the gas and it would come back down to normal. Then one day i tap'd the gas and nothing happend. So i did the obvious, turned the throttle screw and adjusted the throttle cable, then i changed my IAC all of the IAC componets on the intake manifold and ALL the vacuum lines, i even switched the ecu. Nothing has changed, it still idles at anywhere from 2000 to 2500.(unless its cold then it idles at 3500 or 4000) Has any one else had this happen and what can i do to fix it.

yea this happend to a swap car i had at the shop, i beleive its called the EAC valve or summin like that. its on the right of the intake manifold, with a cap and two phillips screws on top, take those off, and screw the white plastic thing back down. if its down all the way, see if u push the brass plunger down, if the idle goes back to normal, then replace the whole assembly. Finally Up and Running. Numbers to Follow. Check my MR

i put in a new header and downpipe assembly, just so my car would run, but like when i put it all back together and shit, it was the airflow sensor in the downpipe just after the flex, i had to change it cause it was like..black... so i conviently found that a 93 civic airflow sensor for that part is exactly the same :P hahah
