F22b Sohc Vtec Swap ?

What do I need besides the motor and ecu? Also is it a bolt in fairly easy swap? I have the oppurtunity to get one cheap so I was just wondering.

is your current motor blown up? if not this swap doesnt net any sort of gains and the head doesnt flow nearly as well as the f22a head.

yea, my f22a6 is pretty much history. and i know head flow sucks in these but its cheaper than a f22a.

why not just have the f22a rebuilt?

but to answer your question, it should drop right in but vtec would have to be wired up. you will also need the ecu for the engine as well.

you need to wire up your vtec solenoid, vtec oil pressure switch and i dont kno if u have to wire the knock sensor...but yea man...thats wat we mean by wiring up your vtec and its gonna be a bitch to find the ecu for a f22b ...you can always use a p28 tho....

give your car to a mechanic that knows how to swap honda motors, best luck, import shop. i have this motor in my car right now, did the swap a year ago. my thread on the swap can be found if you search for it along with another members thread on the swap. f22b swap.
