    H22A driveshaft question

    Greetings,

My H22A (auto trans) swap is coming along nicely, the motor is finally in but I seem to have hit a snag and need a little guidance. I searched the forums but could not find the exact information I need.

I swapped in a 94 JDM H22A (auto) into my 91 EX and am using custom hybrid axles that use the prelude intermediate shaft. I tried to mount the intermediate shaft, however, the bracket at the end that bolts to the engine has about a 0.25 inch gap. The intermediate shaft is for a 94 H22A1. Is the JDM intermediate shaft perhaps different than the USDM one?

Is there something I've missed that I can do to remedy this?

    Thanks...

there is no intermediate shaft for an automatic accord... use the stock accord axles, the really long driver side one and the stock passenger side one, and it should all pop into place just like they came out of the f22.

Thanks, I will try that. With that aside, shouldn't the prelude intermediate shaft still bolt on with no issues?

not if you have an automatic tranny mounted to the motor
