battery to trunk

ok i ran my battery to my trunk but know i want to run a wire from my alternator to my battery so it get a faster charge not so much of a dral .
what sise wire to use ? and has anybuddy done this before

so u'll have a faster charge?
just run a 2ga wire from the trunk to the starter and from the starter to the fusebox (battery cable from a bmw $8.95 jy price)
and use the oem power wire cut it in sections and make multiple grounds
no need to run more than one

i already ran the battery to the trunk i just need to no what zise wire to alt

If your alternator is charging ur battery fine, why mess with it..its pointless unless you have a really cheap valucraft battery and it dies all the time..running a wire from the trunk to the alternator is just asking for a short in ur electrical

becuse if i dont run a wire i cant run at the track i have to have a kill switch on my car becuse the battery is in the trunck

You can run 4 gauge with a 100amp fuse about 1 ft from both sources.

just leave it alone, unless your pounding some 2000watt system the OEM alternator charges just fine regardless of if it is in the trunk or not.

Its not like its trying to pump fluid through, charging is instantaneous through the wires. just make sure the wires you have going to your trunk are 2gauge or bigger.

i have 2 gauge wire ran back. but i went to the drag strip and i could not run becuse i have no kill switch on the out side of my car. i was reading to mount a kill switch u have to run a wire back to the battery so u can put it to the kill switch are is there a easery way? sorry about my speilling i cant spell worth a shit

no, running the wire to and from the switch is really the only way to make it work.
