The usdm p14 ecu needs a knock sensor to work properly

I don't know, my f22B with the f22a6(pt3?) ecu has some go on it. The idle is off though, and the closed loops fixes that. Everytime I come to a stop, the idle drops down to 100 rpm, almosts stalls, then shoots up to 1000 rpm. But uberdata will fix that as soon as I am boosted

i dont mean to go off topic here but how much modification do you guys think it would take to fit an h22 crank in? would it even be worth the effort?

I think I read on honda society that Hondafan is doing it on his f22a buildup, so I don't think it would require much modification since the blocks are the same.

hmmm cuz i was thinking about going with an f22b-t in my 5th gen when i get the money and i dont really wanna be limited by the low redline of the f series bottom ends. i would of course need to upgrade the valvetrain and was also gonna ask about that, but that question has already been answered in another thread

yea there are, i only really found otu the potential of the f22b on here, over on accordtuner pretty much every swap question is answered with h22. while thats nice, i dont really care much about VTEC, and i wanted a turbo app without haveing to pay out the ass for a resleved block . . . so the f22b was a nice app for me, im just thinking about that low redline, and if an h22 bottom end and uprgraded h23 valvetrain could cure that i would definitely do it

Yeah the F22B is a good turbo app, I'm getting mine boosted the last weekend in February, hopefully my tax return is in by then. If you decide to do it, post up on how it goes, I would be interested in hearing it.
