    h22 running on a p75? WTF

    well i got a 92 honda accord lx with a 01 h22a swap.
and i found out the ecu im running is a p75.
i have no clue why its in there. i cracked her apart to see if shes chipped but no signs of mods
i dont have the funds to buy a p13 due to moving
should i just continue to use this ecu or should i switch back to my f22 ecu?

I would use the Accord ECU. At least it's fueling for an engine of a similar displacement. Just drive it carefully. Don't beat on it.
The P75 is an Integra LS ECU (I assume you know that.) Not even VTEC!

If someone did something THAT halfassed, I'd go over the rest of the swap carefully to ensure it's done right. Serious damage could be done if it's not!

      p13

I don't know how long it will take you to get the money for a p13, but I think I have aquired like 3 of them, they are all 2 weeks away though as they are at school.

PM me, I will let one go for cheap.

EDIT: I just saw that its obd2 engine, I have obd1 ecu, not sure if you converted or kept obd2, but if you have a p75 i think you are obd1

201 Whp H22a with bolt ons, see the progress from stock f22a to now HERE

I'm pretty sure you can convert and chip those pretty easy just like a p06/p05... I have a converted p06 on my h22a... If done right its the same as having a chipped p28.

If you don't know what you are looking for then it may seem stock but is probably chipped.... Hopefully on more then a base map...

Is it running right...? vtec engage ... ? If so don't worry about it.

well i took it apart and looking for different soldering marks.
i didnt see anything that stuck out.
          Vtec doenst work.
I got the engine from a smashed cb7. I pulled the engine and rewired my cb7's harness to the h22.

running right? ummm i've had problems with the map sensor.
it seems like no matter how i rewire it i still get a cel for it.
it was running high rpms but i didnt take out the black box or the black canister. i plugged all the inlets on the intake and its running at 1000 rpms now .
so im guessing after i get the map sensor straightened out it should be running up to par.

im not sure if i should use the map on the intake or the map from the black box

whats it cost to get it chipped to run with the h22?
i'm gonna try to get a p13 as soon as i can

deev edit - you need to use the image url, not the url for the facebook page.

I wouldn't dump the $ into a P13, just b/c they're pretty expensive and they tend to usually have burn spots. I myself would go in the chipped ecu direction instead b/c chances are, you'll end up having a chipped ecu in the end. Who knows, maybe the P75 isn't that bad if you don't beat on the motor w/ it. Do you happen to have a P14 handy? That would be better. I suppose the CB PT6 or PT3 would be fine too.

I say you should get a chipped ECU with a basemap from Phearable.net.

Its like $195, but I got one from them and it is a perfect basemap. I have had no problems at all and gained a little power. It was a hard ammount of money for me to spend, but now that I have my H running the way I always wanted it to I see it was worth every penny.

Also, If you are comfortable with soldering, you could chip the P75 yourself. Phearable.net also sells a chipping kit that comes with a chip with a map for the engine you specify on it.

I'm not comfortable driving on basemaps... it's just not a good idea.
