swaping a f22b vtec engine help

i might be swaping my stock 92 dx f22 for a 94 f22b1 vtec engine, how hard is it. can i use the 94 ecu what do i need please help im getting this engine for less than $100

I live in ohio and was wondering if ne1 could help me swap a f22b1/auto tranny into my accord. I plan on doing the swap in spring but i have no clue what im doing (it'll be my first swap). I have a friend that says he'll do the swap for me but i really don't think he wants to do it. He keeps on avoiding the subject so i think im gonna find some else. So if ne1 could help me i would appreciate it.

so i will only have to wire three wires for vtec, but cant i use the f22b1 wiring harness and ecu without doing any mods to the wireing harness or do i have to use my f22a harness and add the three wires with the 94 ex vtec ecu? im confused please help

Use the f22a harness and wire the Vtec wires straight to the ecu.

IF you use the f22b1 harness it will technically have the wires in the harness, BUt THE HARNESS THAT GOES FROM THE ENGINE BAY TO THE ECU WONT!

so just use the f22a harness and the p0a ecu. thanks have a great day.

ok i can vouch for this becuase i did it successfully but took it out in favor of the h22a. yes you can use the stock 90-93 accord lx harness as long as the engine is still OBD1. make sure that if it is internal coil you have internal and if you have external make it external. you will need to run 3 wires for the vtec but dont worry about the knock sensor becuase it doesnt use it. you will need to swap the timing belt side motor mount bracket from the 94-95 to the 90-93 accord. you will also have to make or get a new fuel line because the banjo bolt is on the driver side instead of the passenger side. also you will need to swap 2 wires in the ecu to make it run correctly i am not sure which ones they are. other than that everything else should be fine. if you have any more questions just ask.
