    h22 resistor plugs?

    ive been having some weird/ecu intermittent issue and ive spoke to some people and they recomended to try resistor plugs.
    i found this on the ngk site;
    http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/techinf...aqresistor.asp
    but cant actually find the spark plug part number for h22 resistor type plugs.
    anybody know what the part number is? thanx

    I've never heard of anyone using such a thing... I think if anything, they'd be more of a "band aid" fix than anything else.

      might help in my case in more than being a "band aid"
      quoted from ngk;
      "They are also recommended on any vehicle that has other on-board electronic systems such as engine-management computers, two-way radios, GPS systems, depth finders or whenever recommended by the manufacturer."

      worth a shot

        Do you have an aftermarket engine management system?

        It'd be worth a shot, I agree... but every other H22 I know runs fine without such things, including my own. I doubt your problem is due to not having a part that nobody else needs.

            Ok, in that case then it's possible.

            Best to mention any other mods that might have an effect on things when asking advice. You've been around for a while, and even I don't know the details of your car!

                That's fine, and totally understandable... but when asking for advice, it's best to share enough information that will result in useful replies.

                    Well NOW it is... as far as I know, anyway! The engine management system may be the deciding factor. If you were running a P13, then I would stick to my band-aid comment... but with an aftermarket EMS, it may or may not be necessary to use those plugs. This is the first I've heard of anyone using such a thing.
