what year accord is this swap going into? if you say 90-91 you dont need to rewire it.

There are a couple ways to do it...

You could always stay ext coil by picking up a USDM H22/H23 distributor & cap, etc...I think it's TD-61U thats ext coil but it might be the TD-60U... I can't remember so I'd doublecheck...

or you can just rewire the coil wiring and keep the F22B distributor...It's uber easy... you cut and splice 2 wires and that's it...

There are other ways to do it...but nowhere enar as easy... so I'd pick one of the 2 and run with it...

I think it's the green wire that doesn't get used...

There should be 2 wires with the same coloration that get spliced together...

I tried it and it worked better with the JDM int coil harness... but that was on an F20A which came out of an Accord... i don't think I'd mess with the JDM Lude harness...

Search on Hondasociety, Accordinglydone and Honda-Tech... I know it's there somewhere... that's where I found the info...

Personally I'd just switch over to the USDM H22 dizzy... you can find them used for a decent price ($50 or so $$$)

If you used the external coil it came with what did you do to the wires to make it run? I have a msd ignition I need to wire up to mine. I'm using a 90 accord to put this engine in. what ignition did you use and how did you wire it or where did you find the info to do so?

                            Thx in advance.

i used the stock external coil for now ...i dont have funds right now as im still paying this motor off...as for the dizzy i used the igniter unit out of the usdm dizzy and stuck it in the jdm one...that seemed to do the trick nicely. and for the poeple that said the white/black wire that went to the coil wasnt anything important...well guess what..it is very important...without it the motor wont run...
