I did the auto to 5 speed with an H swap and my rear mount is done I was thinking about filling it or just possibly buying explicit speeds rear mount from their auto to 5 speed kit does anyone know if it will bolt up the same, need anything, or have experience with their products?

id go with esp's mount. theyre well made and rebuildable. filling the rear mount..well Ive gone that route and it doesnt last long. unless you drill out all the rubber and pour your poly while making sure the sleeve for the mount bolt is still in the same place. If you just fill them, like I did; they were new too and cleaned of all grease. The poly starts getting pushed out because the stock mount rubber is still moving around. If youre just trying to fix some old beat up ones, itd work well. Id use liquid nails for that if it was the case. I went all new ESP mounts for my H22 swap. theyre nice.Originally posted by blackenwkn View PostI did the auto to 5 speed with an H swap and my rear mount is done I was thinking about filling it or just possibly buying explicit speeds rear mount from their auto to 5 speed kit does anyone know if it will bolt up the same, need anything, or have experience with their products?

Ok I'll look at those. Will the 5 speed mount work or will it need to be customized in anyway since my car use to be auto that's pretty much the only reason I looked at explicit because I know they have the auto to 5 speed conversion kitOriginally posted by illinois_erik View Postid go with esp's mount. theyre well made and rebuildable. filling the rear mount..well Ive gone that route and it doesnt last long. unless you drill out all the rubber and pour your poly while making sure the sleeve for the mount bolt is still in the same place. Wasn't sure if the rear mounts need any adjustment like the transmission mount does

I recommend the ESP mounts, I just got mine in a few weeks ago.
Their auto to 5 speed kit is only for the transmission mount.
"You will need a ! 5 speed ! 90-97 Accord Dx or Lx Rear T Bracket to work with our Rear Mount. All 90-97 Accord Auto's and Ex 5 spd have a different Rear T Bracket and Rear Mount (Taller). You can get the Rear T Bracket at the junkyard for cheap or new from Honda for $50. 92-01 Prelude Auto and 5 spd Share as well the correct Rear T Bracket needed with our kit."
