    Intake manifold question

    Hello.

So I just removed my f22a1 and picked up an f22b2 for dirt cheap.

Anyway after looking at both intake manifolds, they seem very different. However, after searching online, I can't get a concrete answer.

Which intake manifold can I use? Because I just can't use the b2 IM. The fuel line is on the other side, and just doesn't seem like a plug and play swap.

    Am I missing something here?

Please help and thanks in advance.

Swapping in the B2 will require you to do some exhaust modification, and possibly buy a new header. You could just swap your A1 head onto the B2 block.

I wish I could. But the reason I swapped was because the piston and valves on cylinder 1 were destroyed.

So the IM can't be put on the b2 head correct?

The B2 has different port spacing. You must use the B2 manifold. You'll either need to make a custom fuel line, or use your F22A fuel rail.

Or you could just repair your F22A instead of doing a swap.

The fuel rail isn't interchangeable from all f series engines?

edit: just saw above comment already mentioned. thats probably the easiest way to get around that.
