I think if you were to put some type of sealent it that part when you bolt the dizzy to the head you should not have a problem thats what I THINK that part of the dizzy is the only part that goes in there ne way (never have dohc never swapped)

JB weld it, try to make it a clean and tight bond. It won't be perfect but should be alright.

That dizzy bracket is replacable. Take it off and buy a new one.

edit: oh shit, part of the block broke off with the dizzy bracket. That sucks.

DO NOT HAVE THAT WELDED! That is a cam cap, the heat from welding will distort the bore and you will need to line bore the head to correct it. If you want to have the head line bored you might aswell buy a new cam cap.

If you go to any respectablr welding/machine shop they know the properties of aluminum and know that there will be distortion. I have had several head components welded in the past, and everything was checked during and after the repair. As long as they know what they are doing...you will be fine. I would trust that more than JB Weld. But as Busted said, you will be better off buying a new cam cap.

alum. has to heated to 420degs. then welded or else the weld willnot hold... sooo... unless the insides are good to be flame kissed up to 430 they will make u strip the insides out and give them just the head....
