    H23 head on f22a6?? Possible?

    I've seen alot of posts about h23/f22a1 combo, but i'm wondering would a h23 bolt right on to a f22a6 like the a1? I'm not entirley sure the differences between the a1 a4 and a6 are, so if anyone could enlighten me i'd appreciate it.

    thanks for the fast reply, also what makes the a6 different from the rest? I know it has the special intake manifold, but is that all?

      its all head related components . . .the blocks are the same for the f22ax's

        excellent, thanks. I've read all the posts on here bout the h23/f22 head swap and just wondered is it pretty much as easy as the posts make it sound?

          easy? if you know what your doing... or.... at least have a general knowledge of cars... umm... i'm doing my headswap by myself and its more $$ than anything else...

            very tru^^. i thought that it was gona be like 400 altogether, but its like 600+ with everything. but w/e, its worth it for me, and its my first thing i get to do to my car. but im gona get a hook up, im gettin everything but the tb for free, i just pay shipping.

              ^ jeez..... i had to pay 80 for the head and intake, 75 for the vc and gasket, the headgasket, egr gasket, tb gasket, intake gasket, all the studs adn nuts, timing belt, balancer shaft belt, still need the headstuds and the timing gear..

                shit, u still got a good deal. most ppl sell everything u need but the gaskets for like 300, this other guy i know thats sellin his h23 top end cuz the block is fucked(it has a whole in it, dunno how that happend) but yea, he sells everything ecu, vc, head,.... everything, i just need to buy the new parts that need to be replaced, but i told him no cuz i got another deal with this guy. he is even gona send me some extra parts, stuff that i dont need, like an h22 turbo mani, and some h22 arp head studs. iuno, this guy is cool.lol
