I installed a JDM F22B DOHC into my lude and had to modify my external coil plug to run power to the internal coil. I did this using a 20 amp fuse and checked for voltage all the way to the internal coil. I do have power but NO GODDAMN SPARK. Sorry a little frustrated at the problem because I hope its not a bad coil although thats what it sounds like. I was thinking of just removing the internal coil to just run the external coil but don't know which wire to run out of the dist. to run the coil. Please help

are you sure 20amp fuse was correct? I'm not sure, but the H22a coverstion i did needed a 30amp fuse.

as long as the dizzy is setup for ext. coil i dont see why not. Call honda, and ask them if the coil for the ext. h23a could be matched up with your car...that shouldn't be a problem.2DAO (2 Door Accord Owner)

well I fixed the problem. I just removed the internal coil from the jdm dizzy and ran the extra wire I needed through the seal where all the other wires exit the dizzy to the empty spot on the cannon plug. I used my f22a cap and ext. coil and the car started up the first time. Now I have an erratic idle. DAMMIT IDLE PROBLEM!!!JDM F22B DOHC
