Im looking at buying this motor for 400 bucks.
LongBlock, sparkplugs, Exhaust Manifold, JDM Oil Pump, JDM Valve Cover
(Black), timing belt, new oil pan, new seals and pulleys and belts, new
water pump, JDM Exhaust Manifold(better than USDM)
doesn't come with fuel rail, ECU, or distributor
Any ideas what might be causing low compression in the 4th cylinder, the guy said he didnt want to pay for the engine to be opened. He said it could be a misaligned valve, or it could be anything else. How much would it cost to have it looked at, and say it was a valve, any ideas on the pricing of fixing that problem? And say it would cost alot, could i part the motor for more than i payed for it?
I also got a few questions about the swap.
Are prelude axels needed? New Motor Mounts? What can i keep from my 1993 lx? Thanks in advance.
