need a new manual trans

i would like to do a f22b dohc swap in the not to distant future. but i need a new transmition due to grinds in 2nd and 3rd at higher rpms, due to how it was driven by the people that owned it before me. i am almost positive i am getting the engine from jdmenginedepot.com but these swaps DO NOT come with a trans of course. are there any sites to locate a new manual trans for either a h23 or f22x? other than ebay? i would be very happy to talk to someone with no grinds that plans on a future h22 swap. thanks

What exactly are your plans with the F22b.

If boosting: F22ax trannies are abundant and they can be found in junkyards.

If N/A H22 trannies on most sites go for 700, LSD look to spend 1g.

i would like to first get the engine and tranny, and do some homework on turbo setups. then turbo it. my kind of build, boost and a longer period of time to get money together while i already have a new motor and trans. where i am from (north dakota) we really don't have kick ass junkyards with transmitions laying around. i have got some parts off a few at a local junkyard but those poor bastards were probably stripped when i was in first grade. lol.

Buy yourself a F22 tranny. They are that common. You definitely can get one for less than 300, even with shipping.
