    F22B DOHC won't start

please scroll down i got a question about interna to external coil

Well guys, i finally hooked everything up on my f22b.I put a 30 amp fuse on the ext. coil plug and i tested it with a test light and it lights up so thats out.i get fuel in the fuel rail, but when i pulled the plugs out only cyl. 1 and 4 smell like gas.I cranked it with out the plugs and fuel shot out.I think i have no spark, but how do i check if i get spark on all plugs? Also, it threw a tps code, but i pulled it out and put in agian, disconneted the battery, waited 30 secs and it never threw the code again.I didnt expected it to start right up so i'm not having second thoghts about the swap yet, but i'm pretty sure you guys can give me more stuff to check on cuz i'm to excited now and i have to clear my mind.

P.S.-sorry for the confusing post, i'm in a hurry

first off, what year is your car (ill make things easier) second lets say when you did the spark plugs wires you did everything back words like 1 on 2 3 on 4, or 4 on 2 or 3 on 1 (you know what i mean) take out the spark plug wire out from the spark plug and let somebody crank it, while you hold the end of the wire to metal if it spark then you have spark and if not you may have a bad coil or a ignitor. ignitors usually go bad. check all your fuses, grounds, and so forth

      2-4

I think i got bad injectors.any other input is apreciated.

I can only tell from how the car is running. Its pretty hard for me to tell what a bad internal coil looks like on a Honda. I just went external with my MSD.

Arent there only like 2 coils made for the internal dizzys? Also auto stores are idiots. If you have a chuck of change lying around, MSD all the way.

usdm h23's use external coils that's why they say there's no such thing. I want to say the ignitor from a 99/2000 civic si works but can't say for sure.

Dude you are having the same problem I did. I ran the wires out too and used my stock ext. coil and it fired right up. Just look at your old dizzy (assuming it has the same wiring as an H23 dizzy, don't know, I used a spare broken H23 dizzy for mine) and open it up and mimic the wiring, thats what I did. It was a while ago but I definitely remember that I only had to run one wire out of the F22b dizzy throught the rubber piece to the the cannon plug. (If you notice on the F22b plug there is an empty slot. Your stock dizzy has all the wiring on its plug. Check it out. Took me about half an hour and I haven't had a problem since.
