    weird swap idea

i dnt know where this should be but was thinking about gettin a winter beater probably a 88 crx and i was thinking instead of swappin a b series engine couldnt i get the hasport mount kit for the h22 and then swap a f22b or an h23 just a thought i came up while i was looking for a crx and yes i will be keeping the cb7

It would work as anything is possible but why? h22 are getting so cheap, and if I was going to go thru the hassle of a swap like that, I would just swap in the there.

The h22 in the civic theory is all bullshit. Its the suspension that needs to be changed and on top of that with slight more power and torque from the h22 you expect just any small car to handle well in a decent powered motor. Thats all the b-series civic hatred.

Honda-Tech.com has a thread on the H22A swap into a civic and they compare everything on it.

i kinda like the idea that we have here of keeping the f-series and modding it like crazy...but keeping it the same sorta....oooh daniel jackson is on..can't complete rest of my thoughts.

As long as you get the SI model it wont be to bad. But without it it will be a bitch swapping from dual to multi point fuel injection.

Wouldn't the wiring be a pain in the ass anyway? I can't imagine it'd be easy either way..... Can you explain your thoughts on this more?
