How difficult is it to wire up the MAP sensor on the throttle body? I can't find a firewall mounted MAP sensor for a decent amount of money so I'm thinking about doing this instead because it's cheaper. By the way I have a JDM H22 swap.

Before you go gettin' yourself all fuckin' stressed out, it's alot easier than you think. I ended up having to use a TB that had no provision for my original TB-mounted MAP sensor... so I just popped it off and stuck a hose on the nipple underneath the sensor. If for some reason you need to do custom wiring, there are only 3 wires dude... grab a book and go at it.Last edited by Dirty Harry; 11-16-2005, 05:49 PM.

jdm h22a swap
well when you do the swap into a 90-93 accord what do you do with the map sensor my engine did not come with one. i know my stock one is in that black box above the evap canister. all i did was hook the vacume line that ran from the map sensor in that box to the nipple on the throttle body. is that what i was suppose to do for the map sensor. i mean everything i read about the swap is that you mount to map sensor on the firewall. im very confused! someone help me out
