    I  my DMM

    Lol, i do.

I got it 2 days ago and i've been testing batteries and shit just for fun.

The best part is that i've been using it on my car since i'm trying to get it on the road.I just found out why my exhaust fumes smell uber rich at idle,my coolant temperature sensor was bad.I used shopkey 5 (thanx to weezo for supplieng it) and found that the resistance should of been 200-400 ohms, turns out it was 4,xxx!!!I'm picking a new one tomorow along with setting my tps to specs(w/ my DMM ofcourse) and my shitty idle and rich exhaust smell should be gone

Just wanted to share cause i feel like the DMM paid for its self already and i'm happy with it.I think everyonje should have one if you know how automotive electrical circuits work-or the basics of it.Shit I've even been thinking of doing a write up on expalining electrical since that what i'm learning now in my Vocational Auto Tech class.

This thread has no point but what the hell, i had a good Turkey day and progress with my car so i felt like i had to share

    Happy T-day

Totally your coolant sensor being out was keeping your car in open loop, your going to notice a huge difference once you swap in the new one.

Nice, could it also cuz the rpm's to drop when i hit the gas and then start to climb?Or it could be the TPS?I'm getting code 7 but i dont know if its because the tps is bad or just out of specs
