belt problem on h22

k guys...most of you know i've had this swap for almost a year now...i'm stupid for not posting this sooner, or lazy...one or the other...i've been going through belts for a bit(on number 4 now)....i have the crank pulley that came w/ my jdm h22 swap, the accord a/c compressor, and alt. that came w/ the h22....i can't get a belt to work!!! i've heard that i need to buy a 4th gen accord crank pulley, and i've also heard it should work as-is....i've searched on here and can't find much....anyone have any ideas?

Which belt are you talking about? As far as the belts I used, I had to do some math to find appropriate lengths.

As far as PS belt, I used a custom belt length that was a 4 rib (I believe, or whatever the stock F22a4 PS pulley is). For the A/C and alternator, I also had to use a custom belt with ONE less rib that the H22 crank had, so I slid the belt closest to the engine so one grove was showing. If I can find the old boxes I kept, I'll tell you the lengths.

strange coz i have the same setup and i've been using the cb7 EX belt(5-ribbed) and haven't had any problems. and when i didn't have the a/c compressor hooked up, i was using the cb7 DX belt as well.

Im running Accord Crank Pulley, PS Pump, AC Compressor, And Alt. I think i ran the accord belt set first and both of the belts were too short so i got two more belts which were 1-1.5" longer if i remember and threw them on. As for you setup since most of it is from a prelude, i think you can try running a prelude set of belts. And if they dont fit bring the belt to the parts store and tell them you want one smaller or bigger size belt. You can run the EX belt but i think one of the ribs are missing on the crank pulley as mentioned. i forgot which one it was for.

i'm running this:
prelude crank
prelude alt.
accord a/c
accord ex belt

squeals...doesn't want to get tight enough...one rib shows on the alt and crank pulley due to the fact that the accord a/c is four rib, and the lude is five....suggestions now?
