    h22 swap problem!

before I get blazed i searched up and down and found some stuff but it wasn't detailed at all...i got the h22 running last night but the key wont come out of the ignition unless the battery is disconnected...therefore it must be the control where it has to be in PARK right? how do i make the car think it is in PARK with a 5speed tranny? please help!(detailed if possible)...another thing: i'm throwing a code 22(vtec oil pressure malfunction) and code 7(i dont know what that is yet)

    thanks for (+) input!!!

To get the key out, you have to jump the safety switch under the console where teh auto shifter used to be. Not sure of the wire color, but you should be able to look it up somewhere.

And the code 7 is TPS (not the report, the throttle position sensor )

did you do a automatic to 5 speed conversion?

if so... theres a white piece that connects to your automatic shifter where it indicates the automatic shifter position.

you would have to connect your shifter back with all its plugs, place it in park then turn on the car with the automatic shifter stuff connected and turn it off. after that it should be fine.

thats what i did.. and yes i did a search before and it helped me out.. you should also try superhonda.com if its not here.. because i went to 2 sources.
