h22 problem

i noticed that it is not pulling like it did, and today i was driving and it was like the motor was cutting in and out. you could feel tyhe power just drop and it would pick back up and it done this the whole time has anyone had this problem, sounds like it is in the ciol or something

if you're using the p13, it may be the knock sensor......they're notorious for going bad without giving you a CEL and they're shit anyways

does the power seem smoother after 5500rpm than before?

the ks works up to around 5500rpm then it does nothing after that.......it will feel like it's holding back, because it's telling the ecu to retard the timing

using the 93 octane?

more than likely, this is the problem......

if you can find a p28 that works, you can try that or just buy one...the p13 is shit IMO

yeah it is the p13 with skunk2 chip i have a ecu coming from phearable.net and yes after i get to higher rpms it is fine and the power of the motor doesit seem the same will this change with the ecu swap

yeah, it is the ecu, because it takes what the fucked up knock sensor says is knock and retards the timing......with a chipped p28, it won't give a fuck what the knock sensor thinks and it will run great

well i have a ecu comingin that disables the ks some i will just wait till it gets here thanks for the info bro
