kk i read the Swap sticky for the auto-5speed. After loooking at it, im like whoa that is alot of shyt. I hope everything is labeled.

I was looking to do it myslef but i may f up the wiring and while cruisng those bitches might disconnect and whamo im pissied and stuck on the road.

Any ways, i think doing this thing myslef will cost about 500-800 dollars. And im thinking having a shop do it or a dealer (ehhhh mebe not) will cost k upon k. so anyways what i am getting at is... Is there anyone in the SA region or so that can do this really well and for a good price. I will try and source all the parts.

I am planning to keep my cb till i die or graduate and become profesional so i can get a shiny new whip.

well jaibeezy yea it is alot of shit but to tell you the truth its not that hard aslong as you have a friend help you out that atleast has some mechanical skills because removing the auto tranny is a bit to hard to do it yourself especially if you dont have all the professional tools andi doubt that a shop would do it for you because around here is Cali none of the mechanics want to everyrtime i ask them they answer like if there scared to do it but i already removed and replaced my auto tranny with another auto trany cause the old one gave out on me it was hard cause it was my first time doing it but now that i think of it i can remove and replace it easily but its up to you if you really want the 5 speed i personally am gonna do the 5 speed cause i got tired of an auto tranny its more expensive to keep it running you have to worry about alot of stuff in order for it to last you and then if you have to rebuild it that itself will cost you 1000+ depending where you go but if you do end up doing it get the haynes manuel it will help you out and search around some more cause theres alot of people here who have the how to's to wiring the tranny and the reverse lights and so on
