    H23 help needed.

    Ok.. i'm in an arguement with this one guy. He claims that the h23 is a pos engine and can't hold up any boost at all. I'm saying it is a great motor to turbo. He claims that it is for fat people cars and its slow.

      H23 is a strong motor he doesnt understand h23 is a torque a** motor go 4 it im gonna turbo mines in a year

        h23 has lower compression=less chance for fuck ups
        cheap platform to start on

          Heres stock specs for the h23, and you can look at my members ride thread if you want, to see what my h23 ran all stock(15.5) at like 95mph or something I can't remember cuz the previous owner did it. Just search "brawl" if you wanto to see the exact time, and look at the 1990lx members ride thread he made. Now who knows what it will run with the headwork and turbo and maybe some good tires. But yea its a strong engine mang tell that guy to suck it easy

            Get the H23 that dude dunno what hes saying. As people mentioned that motor has potential its just overlooked. Its prob one of hondas more torquier motors they have built during that time. What you should do get it, boost it, and shut his ass up.

                def. go with the h23 boosted! i love mine, i think the reason its so over looked is it comes in the tug boat prelude, with just the motor i would walk away from any other prelude with the h23, and now that its boosted, i think im the fastest honda in town. and i only run 5 psi. Get the motor and do it you will not be dissapointed.

                    like others said before its a ver overlooked motors. i love mine very torquey. a strong bottom end cuz of that closed deck. i rather have this one than a jdm f22b. im turboing mine as we speak. get it and have fun
