Well my engine is done, my tranny shifted great for 207k miles. Whats the cheapest route? How much do H22's go for these days?
Its either a new engine, or a new car, so I have to decide quickly. I head back to college july 9th.

you should go for the h22, i got mine for 900 longblock only, for everything parts and all that crap is came out to about 1400, its a good investment i think, you car is pretty nice to sell, so just go for the h22

You might be able to get a h22 out of a junkyard for about 1500. its prolly going to be high mileage tho.

If your still in college it's best to stick with what you got and by somethin newer after you finished college.H22 will go for like$1700+ or you could get the h23 dohc non vtec from the 92-96 prelude si for like $1000 or even less depending on where you go.

also your car probably isnt worth much with a blown engine... would you keep it auto? Just wondering cause you said your trans shifted great, but even staying auto you'll at least want to get the h22a auto trans to match the engine, if thats what you get.
