who dealt with japanstarmotor?

on tuesday i am planning on ordering a F22B from japanstarmotor.com. i called them up and got a quote of $700 shipped for the engine. has anyone dealt with these guys? how were they? i did some research and so far heard mostly good stuff. please ket me know of any experiences before i screw myself over by ordering a motor from some place that will rip me off.

I have done 5 motor deals with these guys. Each time I recieved my motors within 2 days. Awesome customer service.

how were the motors you received? anything broken or was it all cool without any major issues?

The only thing I did have with one of them was that there was water in one of the spark plug wells. I cleaned it up and it started right up.

do those motors come with tranny also?

motor only. you can use any F or H series tranny with it.

just make sure its the legit place because there was a japanstarmotor and japanstarmotors or sum shit. one was a scam the other was a very good legit place

I did the same thing as you and just ordered the motor only....shipped quick but when it got to my house the vac. box under the intake mani was busted and the tps sensor was smashed to hell..both common probs. as the motors are stacked in the containers when shpped from the motherland. Called to see if I could get the parts replaced but no go...just a heads up....they will warranty the motor, but not all the shit attached to it...think this pretty much goes for any importer though, and my motor started right up anyways...
