Wheres the Vtec oil pressure switch suppose to be located on the H22? I believe this is the root of all my non-engaging vtec problems. Cause I'm getting a 22 CEL code.

if your looking at the dizzy side of the head, its directly to the right of the vtec solenoid. it looks like the coolant sensor on the upper radiator neck, its a 2pin round plug sensor screwed directly into the block.
if yours is missing, youll be leaking oil, unless its plugged up...
try taking the solenoid assembly off of the side of the head (three 10mm's) and clean the screen and everything out, it made my VTEC start working when i bought my motor.

It's on the left side of the block by the dizzy. In the pic in the lower left you can see the rear water neck for reference.

green plugs on the engine harness usually go to ECT sensors, the one on the thermostat housing and front upper radiator neck...
but yes the red circle is the vtec oil pressure sensor.
i cant remember what color the OEM vtec OPS plug is, it should be green... ive always used grey, since any round plug from the engine bay will work, and grey is way cooler than green.

damn I should have gotten the euro lol...it sucks though when they swapped in the engine they didnt even run a wire cause they didnt see that there was a plug..which its plugged up so I wouldnt have expected them to see one. so now I have to run the vtec oil pressure switch wire to....I think I might have to wait on that one. lol..cause I also have to but the switch...more moneysOriginally posted by cp[mike]the picture above with the red circle is a picture of an h22.
