is there any difference between the h22a, h22a1, and h22a4 heads? i warped my head and am looking for another one to swap on...i have a jdm h22a engine...

the stamps on them are slightly different. other than that there is none that makes a difference in operation.
and how did you warp a head so badly that cannot resurface it? -
Personally I'd stick with the JDM head, cause thats what you had.

i actually just called machine shops to ask them about re surfacing...i didnt know heads could be resurfaced once they were warped...Comment

usually they are very lightly warped, if it is warped to the point of unusability the block is usually bad as well.
and that thread posted above actually has some wrong info, as well as nothing about head differences.Comment
