    FPR question

I finally got a chance to put in my brand spakin new AEM fuel rail today but as i'm putting everything back together I notice that the hose that goes from the IM to the Fuel Pressure Regulator isn't long enough. The instructions said to use the longer hose supplied with the kit but I didn't get one. Any suggestions on where to get another one?

I also have this question. I can't use my fuel injector wire harness holder anymore since there are no holes on the rail, did anybody use it on thier AEM fuel rail or should I just wrap up the extra naked wires up in some electrical tape and call it a day? Any help is appreciated as I am working on it right now and would like to finish it up soon. Thanks for any responses in advance.

just go to your local automotive store; they sell vacuum lines/rubber tubing in different diameters.

wrapping up those wires w/ electrical tape will be fine but you can also use wire loom for a cleaner look.

same as above, automotive store. wire loom is the plastic tubing used to secure/wrap wires in place. its all over the engine bay in case you haven't noticed

will that loom resist heat over the rail? plastic over hot metal parts doesn't really sound like a good idea.

The plastic piece that holds together all the injector wires is practically against my Valve cover and it hasnt ever melted.

thanks for all the help guys. finally finsihed her today. Only thing holding me back from finishing was the rubber vacum hose. after searching and searching I just a smaller diameter hose from my job. I still need to tuck those wires away in that wire loom. i'll ask at the advance auto parts tomorrow and see what they got. Again thanks for all your help to those that gave me thier two cents, its really appreciated.
