ECU Pin Installation

Aight...well I'm getting both the wiring harness and vtec oil pressure switch off ebay....both for $34...this includes shipping. very good deal considering the switch costs 75 from the dealer.

Anyways...I've never installed the wires into the ECU before...is this hard? Should I try this if I have never done this before?

open the pin cover like the picture below. the diagram shows how to remove pins, to install them, just slide them in until hey click. they only go in one way, so make sure you match it to the other pins so its not backwards.

it's easier than you think. you can flip the pin cover with your fingers. i suggest to use a safety pin or clothes pin for easier extraction. a small eyeglasses screwdriver might be too large. be patient!

remember that you are not only removing the pins, you are adding them so make sure to have an extra set maybe from the junkyard to take and add to your current harness. have fun!

best part is..everything is coming as a whole...

pin -> wiring harness -> vtec oil pressure switch.

so I don't have to extract all for 34.05
