Tranny swap.
Would that swap info above be usefull in a 1997 Accord auto to manual swap?
If not, know where I can get one?
Would there be any welding involved? If so...where?
I know I can accomplish this swap with a friend of mine in his garage, seeing as how he's equipped with almost every tool I'll need. I just need to know if there's anything out of the ordinary involved.Only one purpouse.....to go FASTER!

Tranny swap.
That's what I've read too.
The welding isn't a problem as long as I know where to weld.
I'd rather do it myself than pay a shop that much money, even though the price pays for the work.Only one purpouse.....to go FASTER!

5spd tranny.
I found a complete swap tech article.
For 1997 Honda Accords, as long as you're using a 5spd tranny from a 5th gen Accord w/ F22B motor, you don't have to worry about welding because the mounts for the auto and the manual are the same, and everything bolts up straight!Only one purpouse.....to go FASTER!
