    cb7deathride H22 Swap Thread

Well, finally after a month or so of waiting, my H22 was sent out last night thru Bullet Freight. Should be here by the end of next week. For thoes of who who dont know what im doing, I gave up on building up F22B1, and bought a JDM H22A instead thru hmotorsonline.com. Im keeping the automatic tranny also (got a LSD tranny) with the H22 TCU (so I also get the proper shift map.) I also plan on making urathane motor mounts as well, on which ill do a write up with pictures. Im also planning on documenting the whole thing via pictures and ill also do a full write up (step by step) for a refrence point for thoes future swappers. Including the wiring that needs to be done (step by step,) accessories, and other stuff.

I've always noticed you've had an automatic but never knew if it was just because it came with the car or you actually liked it. Now that you're getting a motor and trany swap, and keeping the automatic, I guess that answers my question? What about the auto do you like so much?
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

Its easy to drive, and if i wanted a manual, id rather just buy on that is a manual, instead of converting it. Plus I got a good deal on the swap, due to the fact that there is no preimum on Auto H22s. Im not planning on racing it either, just having a fast daily driver.

My exhaust showed up today. 2.5" mandrel bent stainless steel. Im running that into a Magnaflow dual tip muffler. Bought it from kteller.com. (If the pics dont load, copy and paste the URL, pull up the pic, and reload the page.)
