    h22 swap header/downpipe question

Ok, so I started on my H22 Swap today. I got the motor in the car, CVs installed, most of the way together... but, i test fit my brand new header, to find i got the wrong one...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...1682858&rd=1,1

obviously i can't read, cuz that's not for an h22

So, my question is, Can i combine an OEM JDM H22 Header with an aftermarket f22 downpipe? I'll be ordering a new header/downpipe combo, but until then i'd like to get the car driveable.

anyways, here's my progress so far....

shipping it back and getting the right one is the idea, but i would imagine that's gonna take 1-2 weeks minimum, i planned on having the car running this week

why not use that one or the one that came with the motor temporarily?!

ok.. i think i ran into this problem myself a couple of months ago.. yes the flange is different but all that really matters is that the two exhaust holes match up and i do remember that all I did was get new flange gaskets and bolted the h22 header to the f22 dp and I had no leaks what so ever.. matter of fact it is still in the car... the car would be trickedaccord92. the gaskets should be two little ones that fit down in the dp. i don't know how much they cost because i had the hook up and a muffler shop.

the header most recently pictured is the f22ax DC-S knockoff header/downpipe.

                          i also have
1 megan racing header only with bent primary
                          1 stock JDM header only

                          so between
                          1 f22ax header and downpipe
                          and 1 JDM header
i'm hoping to make something work until i get my replacement header.

so here's what i found out...
stock JDM header, connected to aftermarket f22 dc-s knockoff downpipe, does not work, because the JDM downpipe would be longer. So overall it's too short, and won't go on because of the oil pan. I found this out after i welded together the JDM header and the downpipe. so what I did most recently was take the h22 megan racing header (slightly damaged), and it bolts directly to a h23 prelude downpipe, and everything fits. so that will work temporarily.

i was going to say, the h22 header would probably fit onto the new ebay h23 downpipe.
