    4-plug P13 ecu...will it work?

I'm doing the H22a swap soon. P13's are hard to come by in manual form. So I was wondering, will a 4-plug P13 ecu work just the same as a 3-plug? It's the jdm 4-wheel steering version with traction control.

i really dont think its would work. every honda ecu that ive seen so far has all been 3 plug except for the automatic obd2 ones that are 4 plug

Also, I have read through all the swap info on this site and I know that most of the F22 parts are interchangeable. But I was wondering if there's anything else I need to buy besides the motor, transmission and ecu? I take it that I use F22 belts if I use F22 alternator, PS pump, etc. Thanks.

It will work, I've used it before. You'll get a CEL #36, but VTEC will work fine and everything. If that's the ECU you're stuck with just use it and ignore the light.

Why don't you just get a new ECU? I'm sure there's someone out there that might be able to use the functions on that ECU. Not positive, just my guess.

Well I'm not sure how much you've looked around but manual P13's aren't exactly easy to come by. I don't even have the 4-plug one yet. I just seen one on ebay and the seller said it would work. I just wanted to check with people I actually trust for information first. My thing is, I only have enough to buy an auto swap but I did the 5-speed swap last fall on my CB7. So I was just going to use my F22 transmission for now bc I'm trying to have this done before old man winter comes creeping up on me. I figured I could sell the leftover parts and transmission from the swap. Then buy the H22 tranny in the spring and put it in. I don't mind having to do it twice bc working on my car is the only thing I really enjoy doing.
